Yeah for shift change!!! Today is the start of the new shift for the next four months. Should be interesting working 8 hour shifts again since I haven't done that since the day I was hired at dispatch. I'm excited about this shift though. I will be home more (I think - at least in my mind I will be) and will get to spend more time with Ben. I will also have the weekend off for the first time in 5 years. I'm also excited because over the next couple of months a few things will be happening not only with work but at home too....A few people that cause problems for me at work will be leaving and I'm working a fast working shift so it will go by quickly and no time for any BS.
At home, I will be finding out what is going to happen with my hip (hopefully no more pain pills), Jeremy and I will be celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary, we have a vacation to ourselves the 2nd week of November, and then last, we have a small family vacation in December up to Pagosa Springs for Christmas.
So I'm hoping things continue to go well for us and that Ben continues to grow and I'm crossing my fingers that potty training takes off like the fighter jets he so loves to watch....

Benjamin Dale Smith
Benjamin was born February 28, 2007 around 5:30pm. He weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. Ever since he was born he has been a very happy little boy. He enjoys planes and fish. His favorite color seems to be green, but with him only being 2 it's hard to say when he yells out colors all the time. He loves to watch Spongebob Squarepants, Mickey Mouse, Wall-E, and Nemo. We have been working with Ben on his colors, numbers, shapes, and even the Unites States.
